y+=+%28x%5E2+-+1%29%2F%28x%2B1%29+=+%28%28x-1%29%28x%2B1%29%29%2F%28x%2B1%29+=+x-1, with x not equal to -1.
The x-intercept: x-1 = 0, or x = 1.
The y-intercept: y = 0-1 = -1.
There are NO slant, vertical, or horizontal asymptotes.
