Question 361944: I just turned 16, and I've been on a homeschooling program for about a year and a half now. I do really well with all of the work except one class! I have always struggled with math, algebra in specific. As of right now I'm a senior and I will graduate in June if I stay on track. Which will be super early for me! My only issue is my algebra class, it's holding me back and may keep me from graduating! =[
Please help me!
As of right now I'm factoring polynomials which hardly makes sense to me!
1. 8x+12y-2x^-3xy
2.9x^-16
3.14x^-7x to the third? Idk how to type powers so I'm using ^ as to the second, and anything else I'm just going to type out...
4. x^-6x-5
5. 4x^-12xy+9y^
Please help me!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1. 8x+12y-2x^2-3xy
4(2x+3y)-x(2x+3y)
(2x+3y)(4-x)
2.9x^2-16
difference of two squares
(3x)^2-(4)^2
(3x+4)(3x-4)
3.14x^2-7x^3
7x^2(2-x)

4. x^2-6x-5 ( i think this should be +5) OR this can be solved by quadratic formula.( I have assumed +5)Please check
x^2-5x-x+5
x(x-5)-1(x-5)
(x-5)(x-1)
5. 4x^2-12xy+9y^2
(2x-3y)^2
