You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%282%2Fx%29%2B3=%285%2F2x%29%2B%2813%2F4%29 Start with the given equation.

8%2B12x=10%2B13x Multiply EVERY term by the LCD 4x to clear out the fractions.

12x=10%2B13x-8 Subtract 8 from both sides.

12x-13x=10-8 Subtract 13x from both sides.

-x=10-8 Combine like terms on the left side.

-x=2 Combine like terms on the right side.

x=%282%29%2F%28-1%29 Divide both sides by -1 to isolate x.

x=-2 Reduce.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer:

So the solution is x=-2
