You didn't say what you wanted done with this z3 + 3z2 + 7z + 21 but I'll assume you want it factored. Right?
z3 + 3z2 + 7z + 21
First we can rewrite it as:
z^2(z + 3) + 7(z + 3)
Now we can rewrite it as:
(z+3)(z^2+7)
There we go. Make sense?
