Question 335631: Find a polynomial for the sum of the areas of the circles shown in the figure (leave answers in terms of pi):
circle 1 r = r
circle 2 r = 3
circle 3 r = 2
I have worked the problem this far:
Area of A + Area of B + Area of C =
pi * r^2 + pi * 27 + pi * 4 =
Now I'm lost and here is the answer I get:
pi^3 + 108 + r^2
Please help.

First name the polynomial, how about A for area.
A=pi%2Ar%5E2%2Bpi%2A27%2B+pi%2A4
A=pi%2A%28r%5E2%2B27%2B4%29
A=pi%2A%28r%5E2%2B31%29
