Question 300600: Are these factored correctly?
3x-6= 3 x X 3 x 2 = 3(x-2)
x 2 power + 10x -24= (x + 6) (x - 4)= x 2nd power -4x -6x -24 Answer by JBarnum(2146) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! i dont know what ur saying here:
3x-6= 3 x X 3 x 2 = 3(x-2)
if "x" is your variable dont use it as a times sign this is multiplication: 9*8 or 9(8).
and for this:
x 2 power + 10x -24= (x + 6) (x - 4)= x 2nd power -4x -6x -24
i see what u mean but you made it so confusing to look at and -4 + -6 = -10 not +10 12 and -2 multiply to get -24 add to get +10
