Question 288435: the question is find the quotient using long division
the problem is 3x^3+2x^2-19x+1
--------------
x-2
i tried working the problem and i keep getting the answer 4x+6+29
---
x-4

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
So why do you think 4x+6 +29/(x-4) is wrong, if you got it twice?
It is obviously wrong since there is no x^2 term. The remainder is over (x-4) but you were dividing by (x-2)
and (x-4) into 3x^3 will obviously start out 3x^2
I suspect that you are scamming us. That you didn't even try.
