Question: Is the = sign supposed to be a + sign?
If YES then:
(2t^2-5t-4)
(3t^2-t+1/2)
---------------
6t^4-15^3-12t^2-2t^3+5t^2+4t+t^2-2.5t-2
6t^4-17t^3-6t^2+1.5t-2 ans.

The way to check the answer is to divide the answerby one of the factors which should yield the other factor.
