You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the greatest common factor (GCF)
12a^2b, 18ab^2, 24a^3b^3
GCF= 6ab
Factor the polynomial completely
ax – ay + bx - by
ax-ay+bx-by
a(x-y) b(x-y)
(a+b)(x-y)

Solve
2x^2 + 5x – 12 = 0
2x^2+8x-3x-12=0 (break it down)
2x(x+4) -3(x+4) (pull out the GCF in first group, and second group)
(2x-3) (x+4) (combine GCFs)
