You can't solve it, just simplify it. Assume the problem is:
%282y%29%2F%28%28y%5E2-25%29%29 + %28%28y%2B5%29%29%2F%28%28y-5%29%29
Factor the 1st denominator (the difference of squares)
%282y%29%2F%28%28y-5%29%28y%2B5%29%29 + %28%28y%2B5%29%29%2F%28%28y-5%29%29
The common denominator:(y-5)(y+5), so we have
%28%282y%29%2B+%28y%2B5%29%28y%2B5%29%29%2F%28%28y-5%29%28y%2B5%29%29
FOIL and combine like terms
