Getting started I see that ac=2*5=7
I don't understand what numbers I can get to equal 11.

Perhaps your problem stems from the erroneous multiplication of 2*5 = 7...it used to be that 2*5 = 10 when I went to school!
Try this:
2x%5E2%2B11x%2B5+=+%282x%2B1%29%28x%2B5%29
