You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x over x^2-1 = 5 over x
3x/(x^2-1)=5/x
3x^2=5x^2-5
3x^2-5x^2=-5
-2x^2=-5
x^2=-5/-2
x^2=5/2
x^2=2.5
x=1.58114 ans.
Proof:
3*1.58114/(1.58114^2-1)=5/1.58114
4.7434/(2.5-1)=3.162
4.7434/1.5=3.162
3.162=3.162
