Let the height be h. Then the base must be 5h.

That's all the farther you can go with this one without some additional information. I suspect you were given the area of the triangle and you just failed to share that. If that is the case, you can proceed thus:

The area of a triangle is given by:



Where h is the height and b is the base. But you know that b = 5h, so you can write:









After rationalizing the denominator:



And the base measure would be 5 times that or:
