Question 165297: P(x)/(x-2)=2x^2+x-2+-5/(x-2). Find P(x). Please help me out, I have no idea what to do!!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! this is a function, P(x), divided by a binomial, (x-2)
__ multiplying by (x-2) will leave the function by itself on the left side
P(x) = 2x^3-4x^2+x^2-2x-2x+4-5
collecting like terms __ P(x) = 2x^3+3x^2-4x-1
