7x%5E3%2B2x%5E2-14x-4 Group as follows:
%287x%5E3%2B2x%5E2%29-%2814x%2B4%29 Note the change of sign on the last term! Now factor x%5E2 from the first group and 2 from the second group.
x%5E2%287x%2B2%29-2%287x%2B2%29 Factor the common term (7x%2B2)
%287x%2B2%29%28x%5E2-2%29
