You can put this solution on YOUR website!
we have this ratio

weight of man on earth weight of dog on earth
---------------------- = -------------------------
 weight of man on moon weight of dog on moon

So this looks like

175%2F28=30%2Fx

%28175%2F28%29%2Ax=30 Multiply both sides by x

175%2Ax=30%2A28 Multiply both sides by 28

175%2Ax=840 Multiply

x=840%2F175 Divide both sides by 175

x=24%2F5 Simplify

So our answer is x=24%2F5 which is roughly x=4.8

So the dog would weigh about 4.8 pounds on the moon

Set up a ratio.
28 pounds is to 175 pounds as X pounds is to 30 pounds.
28%2F175=X%2F30
X=%2828%2F175%29%2A30
X=4.8
The dog would weigh 4.8 lbs.
