You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5%2F%28%28y-3%29%29 = %28%28y%2B7%29%29%2F%28%282y-6%29%29 + 1
Factor out 2
5%2F%28%28y-3%29%29 = %28%28y%2B7%29%29%2F%282%28y-3%29%29 + 1
Multiply each term by 2(x-3)
:
2(y-3)*5%2F%28%28y-3%29%29 = 2(y-3)*%28%28y%2B7%29%29%2F%282%28y-3%29%29 + 1*2(y-3)
:
Cancel out the denominator and you have;
2(5) = (y+7) + 2(y-3)
:
10 = y + 7 + 2y - 6
:
10 = 3y + 1
:
10 - 1 = 3y
:
9 = 3y
y = 9%2F3
y = 3
However, this cannot be a solution, you can see that this would put a 0 in the denominators,
solution undefined.
