You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the product:
(x - 4y)( 5x - 9y)
Use FOIL:
F: x*5x = 5x^2
O: x*-9y = -9xy
I: 5x*-4y= -20xy
L: -4y*-9y = 36y^2
--------------------
Add these up to get:
5x^2-29xy+36y^2
====================

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use FOIL -- First, Outside, Inside, Last

%28x+-+4y%29%28+5x+-+9y%29

First: x+%2A+5x+=+5x%5E2
Outside: x+%2A+-9y=+-9xy
Inside: -4y+%2A+5x+=+-20xy
Last: -4y+%2A+-9y+=+36y%5E2

Add 'em up:
5x%5E2-9xy-20xy%2B36y%5E2

Collect like terms:
5x%5E2-29xy%2B36y%5E2
Done.
