Thank you in advance for your time and help. This question is from textbook beginning algebra
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 1/3x + 5/6 = 2/x
Multiply thru by 6x to get:
--------
2 + 5x = 12
5x = 10
x = 2
----------
Check:
1/(6) + 5/6 = 2/2
1 = 1
