Question 1099337: Solve the equation and check your solution: 1%2F%28x%2B4%29+2%2F%28x%2B3%29=%28-1%29%2F%28x%5E2%2B7x%2B12%29

I really do not understand this problem. If you just tell me how to solve it I will solve it myself, but I'm completely at a loss as to how to start.

Thank you in advance.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the equation and check your solution: 1%2F%28x%2B4%29+2%2F%28x%2B3%29=%28-1%29%2F%28x%5E2%2B7x%2B12%29
-----------
Step 1, add the 2 fractions on the left side.
-----------
As to the other tutor's suggestion, factoring is harder (not my much) than adding the fractions (in this example).

Solve the equation and check your solution: 1%2F%28x%2B4%29+2%2F%28x%2B3%29=%28-1%29%2F%28x%5E2%2B7x%2B12%29
I'll give you more than a start!
1) Factor the denominator on the right side
2) Look at the factored denominator on the right side and the 2 denominators on the left side and determine the LCD
3) Use the LCD to clear the fractions and get a simple LINEAR equation
4) Solve that simple LINEAR equation for x
