Given a space where one side is known as is it's opposing side is the same but the remaining two sides are not know and the squared result is known how do I solve for the unknown sides?

If you're describing a rectangle, then area=length x width. If you know the area, and you know the length or width, then you divide the first by the second to get the unknown quantity!!!!!!!!!!!
