A textbook is opened and the product of the page numbers of the two facing pages is 5700. What are the numbers of the pages
-------------------------------------------------------

1) these page numbers are two consecutive integers.

2) sqrt%285700%29 = 75.5 (approximately).

3) Hence the pages are 75 and 76: 75*76 = 5700.

The page numbers are very nearly the same (they're just 1 apart).

So they will be very near to the square root of 5700, which is

75.49834435. So they are 75 and 76.

Checking: 75(76) = 5700. That's it.
