Question 194100: Please help me solve this problem.
A polygon has n sides. Two of its angles are right angles and each of the remaining angles is 144 degrees. Calculate n.
I have tried the equation 90(n-4) = (n-180)+ 144n but I cannot arrive at the correct answer. I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In this case, use exterior angles. Every polygon has a sum total of 360 degrees of exterior angle.
See this URL --> http://www.mathwarehouse.com/geometry/polygon/index.php
The 2 right angles yield 2 exteriors of 90 each. That leaves 180 more degrees of exterior to deal with.
If the internal angel is 144, then the external is 180-144 = 36
How many 36 degree angles are required to total 180?
