Question 1037925: two angles are 72 degrees and 49 degrees they each appear twice in a pentagon what is the size of the 5th angle Answer by Aldorozos(172) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Please read this about a pentagon:
http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/interior-angles-polygons.html
The sum of the angles is 540
72*2 + 49*2 + x = 540
Therefore 144 + 98 + x =540 If we solve this problem we get x=298
x can't be 298 since every angle of pentagon can't be greater than 180 degrees. My guess is that we don't have a pentagon that can have these angles.
