A. 5x, x+6
B. 3x-5, 3x-1
C. 4x+7, 2x-1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

The perimeter of a pentagon is 14x+9. Three sides have the following side lengths: 4x, 3x-2, and x+5. Choose ALL the pairs that could be the two missing sides.
A. 5x, x+6 <<<--- This is good.

B. 3x-5, 3x-1 <<<--- This is bad.

C. 4x+7, 2x-1 <<<--- This is good.

D. 6x+5, 1 <<<--- This is good.

The criterion is very simple: the sum of the tree given dimensions 4x + (3x-2) + (x+5) plus two other dimensions MUST be equal to 14x+9.

Everything is so obvious . . .
