a) If a child takes them out of the box and puts them in one giant stack, how many ways can she do this?
- I tried 14C5 * 13 C2 * 12C5* 11C1 * 10C1 but that didn't work
b) If a child picks at least one of the blocks out of the box, how many different selections can she make?
3) When 3- digit area codes were introduced in 1947, the first digit had to be a number from 2 to 9, and the middle digit had to be either 0 or 1. The last digit has no restrictions. How many area codes were possible for 1947?
4) A code consists of two letters followed by three numbers. No repetition is allowed. How many different codes are available?
