You can put this solution on YOUR website! Assuming that the 3 cars are DIFFERENT, then the answer is . (How? First get 5 out of 9 people, then 2 out of the remaining 4, then 2 out of the remaining 2. After that you have to assign the 3 groups into the 3 different cars.)
