You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Out of six pdp and five acp party members, four are to be selected. In how many ways can this be done so as to include:
1.exacly one pdp member.
Choose the one pdp member and then choose the three acp members.

6 pdp members CHOOSE 1 = 6C1 = 6

TIMES

5 acp members CHOOSE 3 = 5C3 = 10

EQUALS

60 ways.
2. at least one acp member
Begin by choosing ANY 4 from the 11. Then subtract the ones that contain all
pdp members:

11 people CHOOSE 4 = 11C4 = 330

MINUS

6 pcp members CHOOSE all 4 = 6C4 = 15

EQUALS

315 ways.
