    The probability to guess correctly the answer to the second question is  1%2F4, again.


    These events are independent,  so the probability to guess the answers correctly to the first AND the second questions is  %281%2F4%29%2A%281%2F4%29 = 1%2F16.


The "solution" written in your post is INCORRECT.


For your better understanding, if even the total number of questions in such multiple choice test is 100 (instead of 10),
it will not change the answer to this question.
