You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Rule of ratios to fractions:

The ratio of A:B means

1. the fraction corresponding to A is A%2F%28A%2BB%29
2. the fraction corresponding to B is B%2F%28A%2BB%29

So the fraction of girls is 3%2F%282%2B3%29%22%22=%22%223%2F5

Multiply 1100 × 3%2F5 = 660 girls
