Let +x+ = number of soccer players
+35+%2F+x+=+5+%2F+3+
Multiply both sides by +3x+
+3%2A35+=+5x+
+105+=+5x+
+x+=+21+
There are 21 soccer players
( only true if everyone in the class plays
either basketball or soccer )
