4*(1/2) is 2
7*(9/10) is 63/10 which is 6.3
2*(1/7)=2/7 which is (now estimating) a bit less than (1/6).
5*(7/8)=35/8 which is a bit more than 4. Since 35 is a bit more than 32 and (32/8)=4.
So if we add this all up we get (about) 2+6.3+4+.2=12.5 (or therabouts)
