Splitting 10,000 in the ratio of 1:4 means there are 5 equal parts
One-fifth of 10,000 is 2,000.
The man has 1/5, the woman has 4/5, or 2,000 and 8,000
The woman splits 8,000 in the ratio 2:1:1, or 4 equal parts
or 2/4, 1/4, 1/4
2/4 is half, or 4,000, her share
1/4 is 2,000 her mother's share
1/4 again is 2,000 her daughter's share. answer
