You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Totalise the ratios = 30

Ann 2/30 or 1/15 = $6240
Betty 4/30 or 2/15 = $12480
Carol 6/30 or 1/5 = $18720
Donna 8/30 or 4/15 = $24960
Elsie 10/30 or 1/3 = $31200

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First off, add up the numbers from the ratio to see what portion of the total money each child receives.
2%2B4%2B6%2B8%2B10=30
Now, Ann will get 2/30 of the money. Betty will get 4/30, Carol will get 6/30, Donna will get 8/30 and Elsie will get 10/30.
For Ann,
(2/30)*($93,600)=$6,240
For Betty,
(4/30)*($93,600)=$12,480
For Carol,
(6/30)*($93,600)=$18,720
For Donna,
(8/30)*($93,600)=$24,960
For Elsie,
(10/30)*($93,600)=$31,200
