You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A math class has a total of 29 students. The number of males is 15 more than the number of females. How many males and how many females are in the class?
-----
Let # of females be "x".
Then # of males is "x+15"
------
Equation:
x + x+15 = 29
2x = 14
x = 7 (# of females)
x+15 = 22 (# of males)
