then
4x = R's peas
3x = B's
8x = C's
If Claudia gives 1/4 of her share to Benny, Benny will have 14 more peas than Riley. (8x) + 3x = 4x + 14
2x + 3x = 4x + 14
5x - 4x = 14
x = 14 this the mulitplier
How many peas are there altogether?, therefore
4(14) = 56 peas for R originally
3(14) = 42 peas for B
8(14) =112 peas for C
