Question 150145: Question:
find an expression equivalent to the one below
(0.3667)(0.8333)(0.3333)/(0.4444)(0.6667)(0.125)
the correct answer is:
[(11/30)(5/6)(1/3)/(4/9)(2/3)(1/8)]
= 11/4
= 2.75
I understand how to turn everything into fractions but the explanation in the answer states "Simplify the fraction in the beginning of the solution...". How do you go about simplifying [(11/30)(5/6)(1/3)/(4/9)(2/3)(1/8)] to get to the next step 11/4?
regards,
Tres.
