Question 952616: Cecilia and Tavan are reading books. Cecilia has read 3/5 of her book. Tavan has read 7/8 of his book. They have read the same number of pages. How many pages might there be in each book? Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The number of pages must be evenly divisible by 5 and 8 or by 40.
So it might be a 40 page book or any integer multiple of 40 (80,120,160,...).
