first subtract 3 from both sides
N/-4<1
multiply by -4 (switch signs)
N>-4
try a few numbers
let's try -5
N>-4
-5>-4 no
it doesn't work why? it isn't greater than -4
let's try 0
0>-4 yes
let's try 5
5>-4 yes
