You can put this solution on YOUR website! you are probably showing this problem wrong because 6/7/8 is the same as 6/7/8 and there is no difference.
you need to use parentheses to show what is really happening.
from what i can make out, i believe you problem should be:
by how much does 6 / (7/8) exceed (6/7) / 8
the parentheses are important to show which operations are performed together.
6 / (7/8) is the same as 6 * (8/7) which is the same as (6*8) / 7 which is equal to 48/7.
(6/7) / 8 is the same as (6/7) * (1/8) which is the same as (6*1) / (7*8) which is equal to 6/56 which can be simplified to 3/28.
