%281%2F3%29x%2B%282%2F5%29x=1%2F15 This can be easier if we clear the fractions by multiplying everything by the LCD, 15:
15%281%2F3%29x%2B15%282%2F5%29x=15%281%2F15%29
%2815%2F3%29x%2B%2830%2F5%29x=15%2F15

11x=1
11x%2F11=1%2F11
x=1%2F11

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1/3)x + (2/5)x = 1/15
Taking 15 as the LCM for the left side denominators, we multiply both the sides by 15,
==> (1/3)(15x) + (2/5)(15x) = (1/15) (15)
==> 5x + 6x = 1
==> 11x = 1
==> x = 1/11
