You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Three men can individually do a job in 5, 6 and 7 hours respectively. What is the greatest fractional part of the job that can be done in 2 hours by any two of the men working together?

Obviously the greatest fractional part will be done by the two fastest workers,
so we can ignore the slowest worker, the one who takes 7 hours.

The first man can do 1 job in 5 hours, so his rate in jobs/hour is

%281job%29%2F%285hr%29 or 1%2F5job%2Fhr

The second man can do 1 job in 6 hours, so his rate in jobs/hour is

%281job%29%2F%286hr%29 or 1%2F6job%2Fhr

When the first and second men work together, their combined rate is
%281%2F5%2B1%2F6%29job%2Fhr = %286%2F30%2B5%2F30%29job%2Fhr = 11%2F30job%2Fhr. So in 2 hours they can do twice 11%2F30job
which is 22%2F30job. That reduces to 11%2F15 of a job.

Answer 11%2F15.
