You can put this solution on YOUR website!
n%2F7=8 and s%2F8=13
Don't worry, these are relatively easy; we have to remember that what we do to one side we must do to the other. In the first equation, we want N by itself (because whatever's on the other side of the equal sign will be the answer for n)
n%2F7=8 Notice that if we multiply both sides by 7, the equation simplifies to n%2F7%2A7=8%2A7. The statement is still true; and it can be tried with any numbers a, b and x such a=b. a*x*b*x. For example, 2+3 is a, and 5 is b. a=b because 2+3=5. Now let's multiply by 5. 5(2+3)=5(5): simplify to 5(5)=5(5) or 25=25; if we keep doing what we do to one side to the other also, we'll be fine.
n%2F7%2A7=8%2A7 simplifies to %287n%29%2F7=56 simplifies to n=56, and n (56) is the answer.

Same with the second equation:
s%2F8=13 so s%2F8%2A8=13%2A8 so s=104. Hope this helped, email or im for questions.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
N/7=8
N=8*7
N=56
PROOF
56/7=8
8=8
S/8=13
S=13*8
S=104
PROOF
104/8=13
13=13

n divided by 7=8 )
and the other one is s/8=13
:
n/7 = 8
:
Get rid of the denominator by multiplying the equation by 7. 7/7 = 1 of course
7(n/7) = 7(8)
1(n) = 56
n = 56
:
Substitute 56 for n and you can see that 56/7 =8
:
s/8 = 13
Do the same with this; mult eq by 8:
1s = 8*13
s = 104
:
104/8 = 13
