%285%2F12%29%2A6=x Multiply both sides by 6


30%2F12=x Multiply


5%2F2=x Simplify



So our answer is x=5%2F2 which in decimal form is x=2.5

12x = 5(6)
12x = 30
x = 30/12
x = 5/2
