Substitute the value of x= 2 in the equation:
+2y%284-2%29+=+%282%2F2%29
2y%282%29+=+1
4y+=+1

Now divide both sides by 4:
%284y%29%2F4+=+1%2F4
So, y+=+1%2F4+
