You can put this solution on YOUR website! Add the fractions you know by finding the least common denominator and then adding the numerators and the denominators together. The LCD is 15. So add 5/15 to 6/15. The unshaded portion is 11/15. The whole is one; write one as 15/15. Subtract the unshaded portion from the whole to get the shaded portion.
15/15-11/15=4/15. Just a touch less ahan one third of the circle is shaded.
