You can put this solution on YOUR website!
simplify
1.) (1/x+3 + 1/x)/(x)
2.) (x^(2)+7x+12)/(x^(2)-16)
**
(1/x+3 + 1/x)/(x)
Multiply each of the terms by the LCD
LCD=x(x+3)
(1+x+3)/x*x(x+3)
(x+4)/x^2(x+3)
..
(x^(2)+7x+12)/(x^(2)-16)
factor
(x+4)(x-3)/(x+4)(x-4)
(x+4) cancels out
(x-3)/(x-4)
