Change to fractions
= 64%2F9+-+14%2F3
Get the same denominators by changing 14/3 to 42/9
= 64%2F9+-+42%2F9
Now combine
= %2864+-+42%29%2F9
= 22%2F9

You can make it a mixed number, but there's no advantage to that.
