You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You will need to apply the order of operations which is the order in which a problem is solved. The abbreviation P.E.M.D.A.S. will give you the correct order to follow:
P = Parenthesis first. Be sure to work all of the problems within the parenthesis also using the order of operations.
E = Exponents or radicals next
M or D = Multiplication or Division (whichever comes first)
A or S = Addition or Subtraction (whichever comes first)
16/(-2) * (-4/2^3 + 4)
(-8)*(-4)/(8+4)
(-8) * (-4/12)
32/12
8/3
