same as
2%5E%28x%29-%282%5E%28x%29%2F2%5E1%29=32
or just
2%5E%28x%29-%282%5E%28x%29%2F2%29=32
multiply by 2 to get rid of the denominator, results:
2%282%5Ex%29-2%5Ex=2%2832%29
now we have like terms so we can just subtract, results:
2%5Ex+=+64
therefore
x = 6
